Overtext is a browser extension that recognizes text shown in any video frame and overlays it as a selectable, copyable, translatable layer right on top of the video. It works on most video players, including ones embedded inside other pages.

Pricing

OCR is free, with a daily limit for anonymous users. Translation requires signing in with Google and is billed via prepaid credit packs: no subscription and credits don't expire. This covers our Gemini API costs.
